Good proportions are invisible. You don't notice them — you just feel comfortable. Here are the numbers we design around.

Seat heights

Dining chairs sit best at 45–47 cm, with a table top at 74–76 cm. Lounge seating drops to 40–43 cm for relaxed posture.

Walkways

Keep 75–90 cm of clear path through a room, and at least 90 cm around a dining table.
